A well-established, yet still growing financial services firm based in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join the accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliations
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare and maintain financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries
Help maintain compliance with internal accounting procedures and controls
Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
At least one internship or part-time experience in an accounting-related role (required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow
Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion
