A well-established, yet still growing financial services firm based in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join the accounting team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their career in a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliations

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Prepare and maintain financial records and supporting documentation

• Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries

• Help maintain compliance with internal accounting procedures and controls

• Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)

• At least one internship or part-time experience in an accounting-related role (required)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow

• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion
